Knowledge sources
Manuals by revision, bulletins, parts with supersessions, schematics, work orders and the installed base — what is read and how it is scoped.
Manuals
PDF (text or scanned) or DOCX, one per model and revision. Sections, procedures, diagnostic trees, torque tables and safety sequences are indexed with page references. Revisions are kept distinct; a unit's serial selects its revision.
Service bulletins and technical notices
Mapped to the manual sections they modify. Where a bulletin changes a value or step, checklists cite the bulletin and mark the manual page as superseded.
Parts catalogues
Part numbers, applicability by model/option/revision, supersession chains, adapter and kit requirements. Supersessions are followed to the current orderable part.
Schematics
Electrical and hydraulic drawings indexed by component reference, used for photo-led and alarm-led lookups (which circuit, which contactor, which valve).
Work orders
Export as CSV/XLSX with symptom, resolution text, parts fitted, model and serial. Free-text resolutions are structured into symptom → cause → action → part, clustered by model and symptom; each index entry cites its work-order numbers.
Installed base
CSV/XLSX: model, serial, revision, options, firmware, field upgrades, site. Hybrid units (subsystems at different revisions) are flagged from the upgrade history.
Dealer notes
Dealer-approved resolutions, stored in the dealer's workspace, labelled non-OEM, never shown outside it.
Limits
- 500 MB per file; 5 GB per upload batch; scanned manuals OCR'd at 300 dpi or better recommended.
- Indexing is free and re-runs when a document is replaced.
- Drawings are indexed for reference lookup, not for geometric interpretation.
